Location: Regional Victoria - relocation support available.

Reporting to the Reliability Manager, this role will support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a modern manufacturing facility.

n

The position will suit someone who enjoys hands‐on maintenance, troubleshooting, and working within evolving manufacturing environments where adaptability and problem‐solving are highly valued.

n

This is a practical, team‐oriented role requiring strong mechanical capability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and operational challenges as the site continues to scale production.

Key responsibilities

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across production and processing equipment.
n
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting activities to minimise downtime.
n
- Support commissioning and ramp‐up activities across new equipment and systems.
n
- Maintain conveyors, motors, bearings, drive systems, and associated plant equipment.
n
- Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and reliability teams.
n
- Assist with shutdown activities, equipment improvements,



and reliability initiatives.
n
- Support safe work practices and contribute to a solid site safety culture.
n
- Participate in an on‐call maintenance roster as required.
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within CMMS systems.
n

Ideal candidate

n

n
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting.
n
- Dual trade (Electrical) capability highly regarded.
n
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, or automated industrial environments.
n
- Strong fault‐finding and breakdown response capability.
n
- Experience working with conveyors, bearings, motors, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
n
- Exposure to PLCs, SCADA systems, and integrated manufacturing environments advantageous.
n
- Ability to work effectively within fast‐paced and evolving operational environments.
n
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
n
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
n
- Flexibility to support operational requirements during commissioning and ramp‐up activities.
