Are you passionate about helping projects succeed throughstrong governance, strategic advice and continuous improvement? Council isseeking an experienced and proactive Project Governance and Portfolio Business Partner toplay a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects aligned toour strategic priorities.
Working closely with Project Managers, Sponsors andstakeholders across the organisation, you will provide trusted governance andproject management advice, coordinate governance and reporting processes, andcontribute to building organisational project management capability.

- Strong understanding andpractical application of project management methodologies and frameworks,supported by formal project management qualifications and / or equivalentprofessional experience, including governance processes, stage gates,change requests and reporting requirements
- Highly developedstakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with theability to provide transparent, practical advice to Project Managers, Sponsorsand senior stakeholder
- Demonstrated experiencein coordinating governance processes and reporting, including preparationand review of governance papers, and supporting informed decision-making
- Proven ability toprovide business partnering and advisory support, including reviewing andimproving the quality of business cases and project artefacts
- Experience working withproject management systems and reporting tools, with a strong focus ondata quality, consistency and usability
- Demonstrated ability toidentify and implement process improvements, including continuousimprovement of frameworks, reporting and governance practices
- Strong organisationalskills with the ability to coordinate multiple inputs, manage competingpriorities, and deliver outcomes within required timeframes
- Experience working in aportfolio, governance or strategic planning environment, includingalignment to organisational planning frameworks (CSP, Delivery Program andOperational Plan)
- Experience in designingor delivering capability uplift initiatives, including training, guidancematerials, or Community of Practice activities
