The Bureau of Meteorology’s Environmental Prediction Services (EPS) Flood & Water unit seeks a Water Operational Officer to support national flood forecasting, risk assessment and warning services within the NWOT 24/7 roster. You will maintain situational awareness and assist critical decision-making during routine operations and severe weather events.

You will also contribute to improving forecasting capabilities through project work, training, and development of tools and practices,
