About the Role

These full-time classroom teaching positions involve delivering engaging lessons to Prep and Grade 6 students, with some flexibility to start in Term 4 due to upcoming leave cover. Key Responsibilities





- Deliver targeted EAL instruction to students across varying English proficiency levels
- Deliver structured, engaging lessons in line with the school's explicit instruction model
- Foster a positive, trauma-informed classroom culture that supports diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to support student wellbeing and achievement
- Promote inclusive practices that respect and celebrate cultural diversity
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with families

You Will Have

- VIT registration (current or pending)
- Demonstrated experience working with primary-aged students, ideally in Prep and Grade 6
- Strong behaviour management skills and trauma-informed practices
- Proven ability to deliver structured lessons and routines
- A commitment to inclusive education and multicultural engagement
- Enthusiasm for career development and teamwork
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding strategies for English language learners
- Capability to support students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice (or willingness to learn and apply)
