Civil Project Manager — Subdivisions & Medium Density

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established Victorian civil contractor with over 45 years' industry experience, is looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to join their team. With a strong pipeline of residential and industrial subdivision projects and medium-to-high density developments across Melbourne's South East growth corridor and Gippsland, this is a great opportunity to join a reputable, family-run business with genuine project longevity.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil subdivision and medium density projects, from mobilisation through to completion
- Oversee project programming, budgets, cost control and subcontractor management
- Coordinate civil works including roadworks, kerbing and concrete paving, stormwater drainage, sewer reticulation, earthworks and underground power reticulation
- Liaise directly with clients, developers, engineers, authorities and internal site teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time,



and to specification and quality standards
- Manage variations, claims and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Support tender and pre-construction planning as required

About You

- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager, ideally within subdivisional and/or medium density residential or industrial developments
- Strong understanding of civil construction disciplines — roadworks, drainage, earthworks, services
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects/stages concurrently
- Victorian civil construction industry experience highly regarded
