Job Summary

A Southern WA hospital is looking for a Senior Medical Officer for Emergency Department/General Practice covering the period from 23/05/2026 to 21/07/2026. The role includes coverage of multiple blocks throughout the period.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Attend 0800 - 1800 or 1500-2300 ED and inpatient shifts, including some overnight on‐call from 2300-0800 with car CAT 1 presentations.
n
- Provide emergency care and general practice services to the hospital and local community.
n
- Work within a 10‐bed acute ward and a 22‐bed residential care facility.
n
- Co‐ordinate with hospital teams to ensure high quality patient care.
n

Fremantle & Inner Southern Suburbs, WA. Accommodation and travel are provided.

n

Compensation

n

Rate: AUD $2,600 per day.

n

Qualifications & Requirements

n

Emergency experience essential. Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
