Our client is a highly regarded commercial law firm with a strong and growing Real Estate practice. Known for acting on complex, high-value transactions across a range of asset classes, the team advises developers, institutional investors, landlords, tenants and corporate clients on significant property projects throughout Australia.

Working closely with leading Partners and as part of a high-performing Real Estate team, you will take ownership of sophisticated transactions, manage client relationships and play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading property acquisitions and divestments across a range of commercial, retail and alternative asset classes, including overseeing transaction due diligence processes
- Advising on development projects, joint venture arrangements and development management structures for large-scale real estate assets
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating complex leasing, transaction and project documentation for landlords, tenants, developers and investors
- Supporting corporate transactions by advising on property-related issues and coordinating with multidisciplinary deal teams




- Providing strategic and commercially focused advice on a broad range of real estate and property law matters
- Building strong client relationships while supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.

The successful candidate will have:

- 5+ years' PAE in property or real estate law gained within a reputable private practice setting.
- Experience advising developers, institutional investors, landowners or corporate clients on acquisitions, disposals, developments and leasing transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills, with the ability to run matters with a high degree of autonomy.
- Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice to clients.
