Position Overview

n

The SEO Strategist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive measurable growth in organic traffic, rankings, and revenue for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices across technical, on-page, and off-page disciplines, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, strong foundational knowledge, and expertise in at least one specialized area such as technical SEO, content strategy, or analytics.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

n

- Develop and implement tailored SEO strategies aligned with client goals.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO is integrated into overall marketing plans.
n
- Stay ahead of industry changes, algorithm updates, and emerging trends.
n

Technical SEO

n

n
- Conduct technical site audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, performance, and mobile optimization issues.
n
- Implement structured data/schema markup to enhance SERP visibility.
n
- Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and URL structures for search performance.
n

n

On-Page Optimization

n

n
- Optimize meta tags, headings, content, and images for target keywords and search intent.
n
- Partner with content teams to develop SEO-friendly copy and landing pages.
n

n

Off-Page SEO & Link Acquisition

n

n
- Develop link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
n
- Identify partnership and PR opportunities to earn high-quality backlinks.
n

n

Analytics & Reporting

n

n
- Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
n
- Provide clients with clear, actionable reporting and recommendations.
n

n

Collaboration & Communication

n

n
- Work closely with account strategists, project managers, and creative teams to ensure alignment.
n
- Present SEO strategies, findings, and results to clients and internal stakeholders.
n

n





Qualifications

n

Required:

n

n
- 2–5 years of professional SEO experience, preferably in an agency or eCommerce environment.
n
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices.
n
- Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.).
n
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and basic HTML/CSS.
n
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
n

Preferred:

n

n
- Expertise in one or more specialty areas (technical SEO, content marketing, local SEO, analytics).
n
- Experience with Shopify, WordPress, and BigCommerce.
n
- Familiarity with CRO principles and best practices.
n
