We are representing a leading independent Australian law firm looking to grow their real estate practice.

The role

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded real estate practice in Melbourne.

The practice advises on a broad range of high-value property matters, acting across retail, commercial and industrial assets. Its experience covers all stages of the property lifecycle, including acquisitions, developments, leasing and complex transactions involving major property interests.

The position provides the opportunity to take ownership of matters while working closely with clients and key stakeholders. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse range of property work within an established and collaborative team, with scope to guide junior lawyers and contribute to the development of support staff.

About you

Ideally you will have 6+ years post admission experience working on complex commercial development,



capital transactions and leasing matters within a leading practice or firm.

Additionally, you will have:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident in building strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and other key stakeholders
- Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in understanding clients’ businesses and the markets in which they operate
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple matters, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- Comfortable working autonomously while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team
- A willingness to support and mentor junior lawyers and play an active role in the development of the wider team
