We grow, process and supply quality Australian-grown seeds, grains, pulses, stock feeds and food products from the highly productive and premium growing regions of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.

About the Role

n

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Executive Manager, this hands‐on role will be responsible for:

n

n
- Managing the accounting function for all Group entities ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
n
- Coordinating and completing any external reporting requirements such as ABS surveys and requests from other authorities
n
- Ensuring BAS is reported and paid consistent with federal/state requirements and Group taxation policy
n
- Assisting with the Treasury function across the Group
n
- Reporting on the financial performance of all Woods Group entities to Executive Management
n
- Managing and leading the external audit process
n
- Providing technical leadership and support to Accounting and Administration staff
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:





n

n
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting
n
- CA or CPA membership
n
- 5 years industry experience in an agribusiness and/or processing and manufacturing environment
n
- Held a senior finance and accounting position including supervision of accounting and administration staff across multiple locations
n
- Strong communication and organisation skills
n
- Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Experience within a large, family-owned business would be an advantage
n
