About Your New Role
n
n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in the NDIS and Community sectors to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
n
- Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
n
- Provide evidence‐based therapeutic interventions.
n
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop person‐centred care plans and ensure holistic support.
n
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self‐care.
n
- Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance their understanding of occupational therapy interventions.
n
- Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date client records and documentation.
n
- Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
n
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
n

Essential Qualifications and Experience
n
n
- A Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
n
- Current APHRA registration.
n
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
n
n
Current or willing to obtain
n
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
- Working with Children Check.
n
