In this role you will be responsible for co-ordination of support equipment and tooling to enable EC135 maintenance and flight activities. The successful candidate will ideally possess knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems and strong organizational skills. You will:Manage HATS Oakey Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and ToolingMaintain all Support and Test Equipment (STE) in accordance with the item maintenance policyCarry out Tool box auditingPerform maintenance on GSE equipmentMaintain and manage component and replacement part inventoriesMaintain a register of the GSE and STE equipmentWork under limited supervisionWhat you will bring to BDATo be successful in the role, you will have:Previous experience in a mechanical trade or similar role, with aviation experience an advantageDemonstrated knowledge of ERP MRO (cMRO) or equivalent Aviation Maintenance Management software applications is desirableDemonstrated knowledge of BAMS or equivalent asset management software applications is desirableAbility to troubleshoot, analyse, inspect, disassemble, rebuild, modify and test factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumaticsBe able to use and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.
