We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Cairns team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, and has a passion for delivering exceptional aftersales support.

n

As the key link between our customers, technicians, and parts department, you'll play a critical role in ensuring service jobs run smoothly from booking through to completion.

n

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing customer service enquiries over the phone, face-to-face and via email
n
- Booking and coordinating machinery servicing and repairs
n
- Creating and managing service repair orders
n
- Liaising with technicians regarding job progress and timeframes
n
- Communicating repair updates and recommendations to customers
n
- Coordinating parts availability with the Parts Department
n
- Processing invoices and explaining charges to customers
n
- Assisting with warranty administration and service documentation
n
- Managing multiple jobs and customer interactions simultaneously
n




- Identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance and additional service work
n
- Maintaining accurate customer records within dealership systems
n
- Supporting a safe and organised workshop environment
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

n

n
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Administration, or customer service role
n
- A mechanical or similar trade qualification or mechanical aptitude/ exposure to machinery, automotive, agriculture, construction, or heavy equipment industries
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
n
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
n
- Robust attention to detail and administrative accuracy
n
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindsetConfidence working with computer systems and service software
n
- A commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service
n
