Offering $60 per hour on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, this is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with previous mining, fixed plant or heavy industrial maintenance experience.

The anticipated start date is approximately 22 September 2026, so we're looking to speak with suitable Fitters who are ready to mobilise.

The Role

n

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll work as part of the site maintenance team,



supporting the safe and reliable operation of plant and equipment.

n

Your duties may include:

n

n
- Planned and preventative mechanical maintenance
n
- Breakdown maintenance and repairs
n
- Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
n
- Inspection of plant and equipment
n
- Removal, repair and replacement of mechanical components
n
- Supporting equipment reliability and availability
n
- Working on fixed plant and associated equipment
n
- Using relevant hand and power tools
n
- Completing maintenance documentation
n
- Working closely with other trades and maintenance personnel
n
- Following all site safety procedures and requirements
n
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping
n

What We're Looking For

n

To be considered, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
n
- Previous mining, fixed plant or heavy industrial experience
n
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding capabilities
n
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Ability to work effectively within a site-based maintenance team
n
- Ability to complete required pre-employment and mobilisation requirements
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Availability to work a 2:2 FIFO roster
n
- Availability to commence around 22 September 2026
n

Relevant site tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP and current VOCs will be highly regarded where applicable.

n

About You

n

You're a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter who is comfortable working within a busy mining environment and understands the importance of safe, reliable maintenance.

n

You're hands-on, safety-focused and able to work both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
