Job Description

Yargi Racing is currently seeking a highly experienced and capable Horse Trainer to join our team.

This is a full time and ongoing position.

n

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years full time professional experience in a similar role, or 2 years full time experience and a relevant qualification.

n

In addition the following will be required:

n

- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred Racing
n
- Experience in track work, including riding timed gallops
n
- Proven ability to train and educate young horses
n
- Verbal and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information
n
- Ability to work in a team and independently
n
- Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
n

The position will be full-time with the salary above award in the range of $79,000 - $81,000 + superannuation.
