- Act as the go-to compliance partner for the Australian Sales team
- Provide real-time compliance advice and transparent onboarding roadblocks during local hours
- Investigate customers using internal systems and open-source intelligence
- Flag financial crime risk
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence
- Review activity for potential suspicious activity
- Support the MLRO in building and running the AML framework across multiple jurisdictions
- Answer questions on AML, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption
- Maintain accurate records
- Handle required filings, including suspicious activity reports
- Improve processes and address identified gaps
- Work with Sales and Legal on customer contracts
- Draft and update contract terms as needed

Requirements

- 1-2 years of experience in AML, financial crime, or a related compliance function
- Ideally, some experience in fintech
- Ability to operate independently
- Commercial mindset and ability to balance business protection with deal execution
- Ability to explain new concepts clearly to non-compliance experts




- Legal right to work in the country where the role is located
