Osborne Richardson is partnering exclusively with a highly successful, growing food manufacturer to appoint anOperations Managerfor their Brisbane site.

This is a business on the move: heavily automated, investing hard in its future, and supplying major retail and foodservice customers across Australia and internationally. They're looking for an operations leader with the ambition to match.

*This role does require extensive protein manufacturing experience*

Reporting directly to the General Manager and sitting on the senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of the entire site - Production, Warehouse and Inventory - along with the performance, people and culture that drive it. It's a genuine opportunity to put your stamp on a large-scale operation and take it to the next level.

What you'll be doing

- Leading and developing a large operational workforce in a fast-paced, automated environment
- Driving site performance across safety, quality, productivity, yield, labour efficiency and customer service
- Shaping and delivering operational strategy that supports business growth and profitability
- Championing continuous improvement across manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, partners and internal teams




- Fostering a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, engagement and teamwork
- Ensuring compliance across all safety, quality and statutory requirements
- Contributing to strategic planning and decision-making as part of the senior leadership team

About you

You're an operations leader who thrives on scale, pace and complexity and who brings people with you. You'll bring:

- Significant leadership experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or a comparable high-volume environment
- A proven track record leading large operational teams in complex manufacturing settings
- Strong commercial acumen across budgets, labour management, yield and operational KPIs
- Real runs on the board driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Exceptional people leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within highly automated manufacturing environments (highly regarded)
- Sharp communication, planning and problem-solving capabilities
