Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Brisbane Area for a Payroll Expert with Accounts Payable experience. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, including maintaining employee records, calculating wages, overtime, and leave entitlements, and ensuring accurate and timely pay runs. The Payroll Expert will manage payroll taxes, superannuation contributions, and garnishments, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. Day-to-day tasks also include reconciling payroll reports, responding to employee payroll queries, and supporting accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations. The role works closely with finance and HR teams to support accurate reporting,



continuous process improvement, and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

- 5+ years' experience in a bookkeeping & Payroll or similar accounting support role
- Multi-entity payroll processing experience is essential for this position
- 5+ years of experience in payroll & Accounting software such as Tanda, Employment Hero, Deputy & Xero.
- A positive, solutions-focused, and adaptable mindset.
- Strong payroll administration skills, including end-to-end Payroll Processing and experience with Payroll Services.
- Experience managing Garnishments and other payroll-related deductions with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with accounting or payroll software, and practical experience in Accounts Payable processes such as invoice and payment management.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Milton, manage deadlines, and collaborate within a finance environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; prior experience in pharmacy, retail, or healthcare environments is an advantage.
