Accounts Payable Officer
Sydney | Full-time | Construction / Electrical ServicesWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business operating within the electrical and engineering services sector.
This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable professional to join a supportive finance team and work within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

About the role:

- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
- Supplier statement reconciliations and responding to supplier queries
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations




- Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring invoices are correctly coded
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams
- Providing general support to the wider Finance team as required

About you:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
- Experience within construction, engineering, electrical services or a project-based environment (required)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to manage high volumes and competing deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Valuable Excel and general systems skills
- Experience with an ERP/accounting system
