Bridge IT Engineering is seeking a Lead Service Designer for a federal government department with offices in the ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA. The role will address a critical gap in understanding the end-to-end service and identifying opportunities for improving the way the Australian Government designs and delivers services and programs through digital and non-digital solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

n

n
- Develop a business model and roadmap for implementing an Integrated Service Design function, as well as a capability maturity plan that focusses on knowledge transfer and upskilling staff working within streams.
n
- Document detailed Blueprints of the Digital Health service offerings.
n
- Establish effective governance to act as a design authority to provide quality assurance, planning and prioritisation checks and strategic alignment.
n
- Operating a Service Design 'Centre of Excellence' for the Digital and Service Design Branch, to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment.
n
- Understand the research activities underway across the broader department and perform User Experience and Service Design functions for projects as required.
n

- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Service Design concepts and structures.
n
- Suitable approach to delivering the services requested by the Department's goals.
n
- Experience with engagement, collaboration, and planning functions across aged care and/or healthcare sector.
n
- Demonstrated value for money in comparison to market.
