Our Visy Logistics team is seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor to lead daily transport operations across our Crestmead QLD site. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, compliance, fleet utilisation, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

About the role:

n

Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading drivers and subcontractors while ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective transport operations.

n

You will drive operational performance through effective planning, resource allocation, fleet management and continuous improvement initiatives.

n

What you'll do:

n

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

n

n
- Lead the day-to-day transport operations for allocated fleet activities.
n
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR regulations and Visy safety standards.
n
- Manage driver performance, engagement, training and leave planning.
n
- Optimise fleet utilisation through effective scheduling, shift planning, changeovers and load planning.
n
- Coordinate transport schedules and allocate customer deliveries to internal fleet and subcontractors.
n
- Monitor and manage fleet servicing, maintenance and vehicle availability.
n
- Drive DIFOT performance and customer service outcomes.
n
- Manage subcontractor relationships and associated costs.
n




- Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvements.
n
- Support a strong safety culture through hazard reporting, toolbox talks and continuous safety engagement.
n
- Contribute to P&L; performance through labour, fleet and operational cost management.
n

What you will bring:

n

n
- Experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations leadership.
n
- Strong understanding of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
n
- Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
n
- Experience managing operational schedules, transport planning and fleet performance.
n
- Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
n
- Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage changing priorities.
n
- Current driver's licence.
n
- Experience with SAP, TMS or WMS systems will be highly regarded.
n
