About the Role

Whitehaven Coal | Blackwater seeks an experienced Warehouse Superintendent.

n

This key leadership role is responsible for the secure, efficient, and cost-effective management of warehousing on site. This critical role ensures Inventory availability / accuracy, and supply chain reliability.

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the warehouse team and drive continuous improvement.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and develop the warehouse team to deliver safe and efficient operations
n
- Oversee inventory management including stock accuracy and reconciliations
n
- Ensure availability of materials to support maintenance and operational requirements
n
- Ensure compliance with safety, site standards, and statutory requirements
n
- Provide reporting on inventory and cost optimisation
n

What You Will Bring

n

n




- Extensive experience in warehouse or supply chain operations with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory / superintendent role
n
- Experience managing warehousing teams in mining, heavy industry, or a similar
n
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety, inventory management, and materials handling procedures
n
- Proficiency in inventory and materials systems (eg SAP)
