About the role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team at our Morley, WA location. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail operations. As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store management, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and leading a motivated team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation as a premier automotive retailer and directly impacts the profitability and performance of the store.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing retail team, providing coaching, training and performance management
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and facility maintenance
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all customer interactions
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, and merchandise displays to maximise sales and operational efficiency
- Implement and monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
- Analyse sales data and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement




- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Recruit, interview and onboard new team members as required
- Collaborate with head office to execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in retail management, ideally within the automotive or consumer products sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Excellent customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering outstanding experiences
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of retail operations, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management and visual merchandising
- Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers at all levels
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges
- Relevant retail qualifications or certifications are advantageous
