- Partner with operational leaders to deliver people initiatives supporting business performance, workforce capability and project outcomes across the Nifty Project and Surface Mining operations
- Provide trusted HR and employee relations advice on performance, conduct, investigations, disciplinary matters and terminations
- Ensure compliance with policy, legislation and industrial frameworks
- Use workforce insights, HR metrics and HRIS data to identify trends and improve people and operational outcomes
- Partner with leaders, recruitment and mobilisation teams on talent acquisition, onboarding, mobilisation, retention and workforce planning
- Lead implementation of Macmahon’s people frameworks
- Champion core values and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture

Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations or a related discipline
- Demonstrated People (HR) Business Partner experience in mining, contracting or a similar industry
- Solid knowledge of employee relations, industrial relations and contemporary people practices, ideally within blue-collar or operational workforces
- Ability to interpret legislation and enterprise agreements
- Experience using SuccessFactors is not mandatory or will be desirable
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills




- Ability to build credibility across leaders, site teams and corporate functions
- Regular travel to site as required
