Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Location: Melbourne

Employment Type: Casual Contract (The engagement will be for initial six months)

About the Role:

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Cypress.
n
- Build and execute mobile automation frameworks using Appium or similar tools.
n
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
n
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and defect triaging.
n
- Drive continuous integration and delivery practices for automated testing.
n




- Mentor junior team members and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements.
n
- (Optional) Utilize JMeter for performance and load testing as needed.
n

n

Required Skills:

n

- Hands-on experience with Cypress (Mandatory)
n
- Proficiency in mobile test automation using Appium or similar tools (Mandatory)
n
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting
n
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter

- Previous experience in leading QA efforts or mentoring team members
