About Our School

Holy Family School, located in Indooroopilly, caters to primary students with an enrolment of over 120 students. Our motto, "Strength and Gentleness," is inspired by St. Brigid and the Brigidine Sisters who founded our school community. - Salary: $149,763 - $157,120 + super
- Status: Full-time | Fixed-term (Substantive 5-year appointment as APRE with a further 5 offered subject to a positive review).

- growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
- building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.

In This Position You Will Be Responsible For

- Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
- Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the qualified life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
- Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
- Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
- Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

About You

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

- Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
- Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements





- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
