A well-established, family-owned building products manufacturer is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a structured lean improvement program across its production operations.

About the Role

n

This is a newly created, standalone Continuous Improvement leadership role, carved out to give the function dedicated focus as the business grows. You'll lead the rollout of a structured lean/continuous improvement methodology, working cross-functionally across the organisation, including production, engineering and operations leaders to build a genuine improvement culture from the shop floor up.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the rollout of a structured lean / continuous improvement methodology (kaizens, 5S) across the business
n
- Partner across departments to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities
n
- Lead and facilitate improvement workshops, training and coaching to build lean capability across the workforce
n
- Analyse business processes to identify root causes of loss and inefficiency, developing and implementing corrective action plans
n
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional improvement projects, tracking progress against measurable targets
n
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the integrated management system supporting safety,



quality and operational goals
n
- Report on continuous improvement progress against objectives to senior leadership
n
- Provide mentorship and coaching on lean tools and continuous improvement thinking across the organisation
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in business, engineering or a related field
n
- 3-5+ years' experience in a continuous improvement, process improvement or lean methodology role
n
- Demonstrated experience implementing lean methodologies in an industrial or production setting
n
- Project management skills and experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills — comfortable working across departments and all levels of the business
n
- A hands-on, self-starting approach with a genuine passion for driving measurable improvement
n
