Health on Henley is a small, independent, values-focused general practice with a clear focus on primary health innovation. As the Practice Manager, your primary purpose is to lead the day-to-day business and administrative operations of the practice. You will ensure the practice runs efficiently, remains compliant with relevant healthcare regulations and policies and delivers an excellent experience for patients, practitioners and staff. You will also support the team to implement funded PHN projects, contribute to our digital health activity, optimise current service offerings and work with the leadership team to grow the practice.

Key responsibilities

Manage all administrative operations of the practice

Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, policies and general practice accreditation requirements

Develop, implement and review practice policies and procedures

Oversee staff and practitioner recruitment, onboarding and training

Manage staff scheduling and rostering to ensure appropriate coverage across the practice

Conduct performance management, including annual Performance Review Appraisals

Oversee patient appointments, records and enquiries to ensure an excellent patient experience

Implement and monitor quality assurance processes and health and safety protocols

Manage facility maintenance, equipment,



inventory ordering and stock control

Support the team to implement funded PHN projects and digital health initiatives

Support marketing and promotion of new services, particularly nurse practitioner-led activity

About you

Strong leadership, people management and organisational skills

An innovative and creative mindset

Strong digital health and technology skills

Alignment with the values of a small, independent, values-focused practice

Professional communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to analyse data, report on operational metrics and identify opportunities for improvement

Experience managing a general practice or other healthcare facility

Experience in staff recruitment, rostering, training and performance management

Experience using medical software (ideally Best Practice) and practice analytics tools (ideally Cubiko)

Experience using Microsoft 365 programs (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel)
