Senior Engery Originator

The Senior Originatoris responsible forleading the origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of complex Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and BESS Tolling Agreements across the Australian power market. The role combines commercial leadership, marketexpertiseand transaction execution, supporting both renewable generation and energy storage (BESS) assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead origination and execution of Corporate and Utility PPAs across Australia
- Originate,structureand negotiate BESSFlexible Purchase Agreements, optimizationcontractsand route-to-market strategies
- Take full ownership of commercial negotiations from early engagement (NDA, MoU,HoT) through to contract execution




- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of PPA and BESS opportunities aligned with company growth strategy
- Build andmaintainsenior relationships with corporates, utilities, retailers, traders,aggregatorsand BESS optimizers
- Work closely with Development, Finance, Legal, Trading and Technical teams to advance and close transactions
- ActivelymonitorAustralian power market trends, regulatory developments, ancillary servicesmarketsand pricing dynamics

What You Bring to the Role:

- +5years of experience in energy origination, PPA structuring, energytradingor commercial roles
- Proventrack recordin leading and executing PPA transactions independently
- Strong experience with BESS business models, including tolling agreements, merchantexposureand optimization strategies
- In-depth understanding of the Australian power market (NEM), including pricing dynamics, volatility, and regulatory framework
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiationskillsand ability to structure complex deals
- Established network of market counterparties (corporates, utilities, retailers, traders, storage players) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously andoperateautonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
