Job Description

Working closely with the Fitout Team Leader & Project Manager, you'll manage the commercial and contractual administration of the project from procurement through to final account on high end fitout and refurbishments projects across Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

n

Preparing scopes of work and subcontractor tender packages

n

Managing procurement, tender comparisons and recommendations

n

Preparing and administering subcontract agreements

n

Assessing progress claims and preparing payment schedules

n

Managing subcontractor and head contract variations

n

Maintaining project cost reports, forecasts and cash flow information

n

Preparing contractual notices and project correspondence

n

Supporting head contract claims and commercial reporting

n

Identifying commercial risks and opportunities

n

Managing project close-out and subcontractor final accounts

n

About you

n

A qualification in construction management, quantity surveying or a related discipline

n

At least 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator with a commercial builder

n

Experience in office fitout and refurbishment projects or similarly complex building projects

n





Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement and administration

n

Sound commercial judgment and attention to detail

n

The confidence to raise issues early and communicate clearly

n

Strong organisation and follow-through

n

A practical approach to balancing contractual discipline with project delivery

n

The ability to work collaboratively while remaining accountable for commercial outcomes
