The role focuses on implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions for up-to-date web applications using Playwright. The consultant will work closely with development and QA teams to design scalable UI and API automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high software quality within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities
n

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
n
- Implement end-to-end UI automation for web applications across multiple browsers.
n
- Develop and execute API automation tests using Playwright or related tools.
n
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
n
- Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
n
- Ensure high test coverage, stability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
n
- Participate in test planning, test reviews,
and continuous improvement of QA processes.
n
- Maintain version-controlled test assets and follow automation best practices.
n

SKILLS
n
Must have
n
n
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
n
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
n
- Experience with UI automation testing for web applications.
n
- Good understanding of API testing concepts, including REST APIs and request/response validation.
n
- Knowledge of automation framework design patterns, test data management, and test automation best practices.
n
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
n
n
Nice to have
n
n
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
n
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
n
- Knowledge of Docker or cloud-based testing environments.
