About this opportunity

As the People Operations Team Leader, you will lead the day‐to‐day delivery of People services across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high‐quality HR operations. This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll oversee HR processes, support employee experience initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across systems and workflows while leading a small team of Caregiver Coaches and support staff.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this role will work closely with leaders across the region to support our caregivers and office‐based teams, helping to create a positive, compliant and engaged workforce.

Based in our Perth Metro region across our Osborne Park and Clarkson offices (primarily Osborne Park), you'll join a collaborative, values‐driven team where your leadership and HR expertise will support scalable, consistent, and high‐quality people practices.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and support a small team of Caregiver Coaches and support staff, including allocating workload, setting priorities, and coaching for performance
n
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance with legislation and internal policies
n
- Manage and maintain HR data integrity, reporting, and workforce metrics
n
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
n




- Manage workers' compensation and injury management processes
n
- Drive process improvement initiatives and optimise HR systems
n
- Support employee experience initiatives including performance reviews and engagement activities
n
- Act as a key escalation point for employee relations matters
n

About you

n

You are an experienced HR professional who thrives on leading teams, improving processes, and delivering high‐quality people outcomes. You bring a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset and are confident working in a quick‐paced environment.

n

You'll also have:

n

- Demonstrated experience in HR operations or generalist HR roles
n
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements
n
- Proven ability to lead and develop a small team
n
- Experience managing HR systems, data, and reporting
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n

A qualification in Human Resources (or working towards one) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
