We are working with a growing and well-established law firm looking to appoint a talented Commercial & Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its expanding Litigation team in the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer looking to develop their career within a supportive and commercially focused environment, with the opportunity to work on a varied caseload, build strong client relationships and progress within the department.

The Opportunity

You will manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, advising both individuals and businesses and handling disputes from initial instruction through to resolution.

Your work may include:

- General civil and commercial litigation
- Contractual and commercial disputes
- Property-related disputes, including boundary, easement and rights of way matters
- Private nuisance claims
- TOLATA claims
- Party Wall Act matters
- Defamation
- Professional negligence
- Advising businesses on wider commercial disputes and litigation strategy

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your matters, provide practical and commercially focused advice, and develop long-term relationships with clients and professional introducers.

Progression & Development

This role offers genuine scope to build your profile and progress within a growing Litigation department. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and the Head of Department, giving you access to quality support while allowing you increasing autonomy over your caseload.

There is also scope to become more involved in business development,



client relationship management and cross-referral opportunities, helping you develop not only as a technical lawyer but as a commercially minded fee earner.

About You

We are interested in qualified Solicitors or CILEX Lawyers, with approximately NQ–5 years' PQE, who have experience or a genuine interest in civil and commercial dispute resolution.

You will ideally have:

- Strong litigation and dispute resolution experience
- Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills
- Strong commercial awareness and client focus
- The ability to manage your own caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach to business development
- The ability to work collaboratively while using your own initiative
