Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality? We're looking for a motivated Concrete & Aggregates Laboratory Technician to join our Canberra team. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our concrete and quarry products through sampling, testing, reporting, and laboratory operations.

What you'll be doing:
No two days are the same in this varied role. You'll:
- Collect concrete and aggregate samples from sites across the region
- Perform laboratory testing in line with industry standards and approved procedures
- Prepare samples and accurately record and report test results
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Support quality assurance and compliance testing activities
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation in line with NATA accreditation requirements
- Champion safe work practices and contribute to a robust safety culture
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician, or experience in a construction, trade, or related industry
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
- Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- The ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and industry testing requirements
- Experience in aggregate testing (highly regarded but not essential)
- A current driver's licence (tool-of-trade vehicle provided)
