Epworth Freemasons, one of Victoria's leading maternity hospitals, is seeking casual midwives to work night duty across our Maternity Services departments within the Central Resource Unit (CRU).

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Providing expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
n
- Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
n
- Ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
n
- Role-modeling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in interactions with patients and families.
n
- Continuously enhancing skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward.
n
- A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
n
- A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families.
n

Requirements

n

Current AHPRA Registration as a dual registered Nurse/Midwife (essential).

n
