Revenue Officer

Location: Sunshine, VIC

Pay Rate: $39 per hour + Super

Duration: 6-Week Temporary Assignment

An opportunity is available for an experienced Revenue Officer to join a local council based in Sunshine on a short-term assignment.

This role will provide administrative and customer service support within the Revenue team, assisting with rates, revenue and financial administration activities while delivering a high standard of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Revenue team.
- Process data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and over the counter.
- Assist with rates and revenue-related administration.
- Prepare routine correspondence and documentation.
- Provide accurate information and procedural advice to customers.
- Support the team with general revenue and financial administration tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- A Certificate in Business,



Finance or a related discipline, and/or experience in a rates, revenue or financial setting.
- Previous experience in administration, data entry or clerical support.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and courteous manner.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage enquiries and provide clear procedural advice.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
