As a Care Service Employee Team Leader, you will bring strongexperience in delivering individualised, person-centred care toresidents within our Mount Warrigal Residential Home. Leading byexample, you will support and guide a team of care staff whilebuilding strong skilled partnerships with our RegisteredNurses and wider multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receiveexceptional care and support.

With a genuine commitment to supporting older people, you willplay an important role in promoting residents' independence,wellbeing and quality of life. You will coordinate care delivery,support medication administration and mentor team members tomaintain the highest standards of clinical and compassionatecare.

The requirements | What it takes to do thiswork

- Certificate IV in Ageing Support (or equivalent) withMedication competency qualification (HLTHPS007 - Administer andMonitor Medications or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience working in aged care or residentialcare environments
- Experience providing leadership,



mentoring or guidance tocare teams
- Sound knowledge of resident-centred care principles andaged care standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with theability to build positive relationships with residents,families and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention todetail
- Ability to accurately document care, observations andincident reports
- Commitment to advocating for older people and supportingtheir wellbeing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinaryteam
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements withina care environment

- Base hourly rate $42.29 + Penalty rates where theyapply
- Permanent Part Time Position located at our Mount Warrigalhome
- 16 hours per week | Thursday and Friday 2230 - 0700am
