Picker/Nursery Hand - Wholesale Production

Azalea Grove Nursery is a wholesale plant production nursery based at Redland Bay, with an outstanding reputation within the Nursery Industry, having a long history of servicing wholesale, retail and landscaping professionals for many decades. Through our networks we produce and supply the highest quality plant stock in order to support our clients to meet or exceed their customers’ expectations.

We are currently looking for several physically fit stock pickers/nursery hands to join our dynamic picking/dispatch team. It is a physically demanding job requiring you to work outdoors, operating trackers and picking and collecting our wide range of nursery plants for the dispatch team. The successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:

- Be physically fit as these roles are physical in nature,
- Be motivated self starters who are capable of working unsupervised when required,
- Be available to work Monday to Thursday each week,
- Reliable and punctual for work, and




- Must have reliable own transport as there is no public transport available.

Industry experience would be preferred but is not essential as we do offer full training for the right candidates.

Potential for full time employment as positions become available after a qualifying period

Employment will be on a casual basis between 22 to 32 hours per week, with the prospect of an offer of full time employment after a qualifying period for employees who demonstrate the attributes we require and who seek a career within our agile business. We are looking for new team members who enjoy working outdoors, want to learn new skills and be a part of a strong team.
