This is a hands-on administration role and an important part of day-to-day transport operations. You will work closely with management and truck drivers to ensure paperwork, work dockets, compliance requirements and general office administration are kept organised and up to date.

Key responsibilities

- Processing and maintaining daily driver work dockets and transport paperwork
- Checking that required documentation is completed correctly and following up missing information
- Maintaining company compliance records and registers
- Assisting with WHS/OHS and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) documentation
- Maintaining vehicle, plant, driver, training and compliance records
- Filing, scanning, data entry and general document control
- Assisting with driver paperwork, inductions and compliance requirements
- Communicating with drivers throughout the day and helping resolve day-to-day administrative issues
- Assisting management with general office and transport administration
- Keeping records organised, accurate and up to date

About you





- Previous administration experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills
- The confidence to follow up paperwork and information when required
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- A practical, common-sense approach to problem solving
- A friendly and professional manner
- The ability to work well with drivers, management and other staff
- An understanding of confidentiality and accurate record keeping
