About The Role

We are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our modern, NATA-accredited laboratory. The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.

Responsibilities

- Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.
- Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
- Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Documentation:



Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.

Skills and Experiences:

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Passionate about environmental issues and sustainability
- A degree in Science (Chemistry major is preferred) or Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude
- Strong teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
