- Provide culturally responsive support, advocacy and brokerage to First Nations, CALD and Pasifika participants
- Build and maintain relationships with Elders, cultural leaders, community-controlled organisations and key stakeholders
- Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments, care planning and service delivery
- Promote cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, recovery and inclusion
- Support cultural capability development across the team through knowledge sharing, training, resources and stakeholder engagement
- Involve participants and families in care decisions while maintaining confidentiality, cultural sensitivity and qualified standards
- Maintain accurate records, support quality improvement activities, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, privacy, workplace health and safety and organisational requirements

Requirements

- Strong cultural knowledge and community connections with First Nations, CALD and/or Pasifika communities
- Experience providing cultural support, advocacy or service navigation for people experiencing mental health and wellbeing challenges
- Ability to build effective relationships with Elders, community-controlled organisations and key community stakeholders
- Experience supporting cultural capability and culturally responsive practice
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team




- Understanding of social and emotional wellbeing and recovery-oriented approaches
- Strong communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work

Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to multidisciplinary assessments and service delivery.
