Key Duties

- Evaluate students' skills tocreate a flexible, individualised curriculuminEnglishthat addresses their specific needs andgoals.
- Implement learning programsbased on research into how students learn, using formativeassessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhanceengagement and understanding.
- Continuously refine teachingstrategies and activities using student feedback and assessmentdata to improve lesson plans anddelivery.
- Developstudent-centredactivities that promote exploration andinnovation in product design, encouraging practical applicationof theoretical knowledge.
- Sethighexpectationsto create a safe,



inclusive, and supportiveclassroom culture, fostering creativity andproblem-solving.
- Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar School valuesandbehaviours.

Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience inteachingVCEEnglish at Secondary yearlevels.
- Genuine enthusiasm for teachingand commitment to students’ academic and personalgrowth
- Goodcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytoexplain complex designconceptseffectivelyand engagewith students,colleagues, and parents.
- Committedto ongoingprofessional development,keeping up-to-datewithcurrent trends inEnglishliterature,andmaintaininga proactiveattitude.
