Warehouse Operative / Operations Processors (42)

GR Employment Ltd are looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives on behalf of one of our customers who are a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in Kingsway Interchange, This is a temporary placement, but for the right candidate could go permanent.

The Operations Processor is a hands-on role, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. Working directly with secure, customs-cleared shipments, you will be required to ensure that all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials and shipments are processed and loaded into vehicles in a precise, safe and time-productive manner. You will be required to scan and distribute material within the service centre.

Shift Available:

Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 19:00

Hourly Rate: £13.02 per hour

Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00 pm

Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour

Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Job responsibilities:

Process all incoming and outgoing shipments

Loading parcels into cages

Scan/process shipments

Manual lifting of shipments is required

Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the shift

Other general warehouse duties

Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata

Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
