The Role

As a Diagnostic Sonographer,
you will be responsible for delivering high‐quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and imaging accuracy.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
Performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations
n
Producing accurate, high‐quality imaging and reports
n
Delivering compassionate, patient‐focused care
n
Maintaining clinical governance, safety, and quality standards
n
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
n
Essential Qualifications & Experience
n
To be considered for this Sonographer job in the Cayman Islands, you must have:
n
Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound
n
Bachelor of Health Science (Medical Imaging) or equivalent
n
Broad ultrasound experience including:
n
Vascular
n
Obstetrics and Gynaecology
n
Orthopaedic imaging
n
General Requirements
n
Current professional licensure in the UK
n
Eligibility for regional or local authority licensure (completed after offer)
n
Strong written and spoken English
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Compassionate, patient‐centred approach
n
Ability to perform effectively in a fast‐paced clinical environment
n
Versatile team player willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
