IT Manager – Sydney | The Fresh Collective

Shape the future of technology for one of Australia's leading hospitality and events groups
n
As we continue to grow, we're bringing our IT function in-house for the first time. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced IT leader to build and shape technology across the business.
n
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll lead the strategy, security and day-to-day management of IT, partnering with leaders across the organisation to deliver secure, reliable and innovative technology that supports our people, our venues and our future growth.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
- Lead the transition of our IT from an outsourced managed services model to a high-performing, well-documented in-house function, laying the foundations for our next phase of growth.
n
- Own, optimise and continuously improve our Microsoft environment â Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, Intune and SharePoint â supporting approximately 100 users across multiple sites.
n
- Drive cyber security, IT governance and best practice to ensure our systems remain secure, resilient and fit for a growing national business.
n
- Manage and support our core business systems, including Humanforce and Momentus Elite, ensuring they are reliable, efficient and meet the needs of our teams.
n

Identify opportunities to introduce AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity while maintaining appropriate governance and security controls.
n
n
- Take ownership of our Square for Restaurants POS operations, refining and stabilising them across all venues - an early priority for this role.
n
- Partner with the CFO and leadership team as the trusted technology adviser.

About you
n
n
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
n
- Proven experience in an IT Manager, Infrastructure Manager or similar technology leadership role, ideally supporting multiple sites or a geographically dispersed business.
n
- Deep, hands-on expertise across the Microsoft technology stack, including Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID, together with strong cyber security knowledge.
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused and hands-on approach, with the confidence to work autonomously.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions for non-technical audiences.
n
- Highly regarded - Experience with bringing IT function in house/ Highly technical hands on skills
