An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Enterprise Integration Tester to join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team within a large-scale federal government transformation program.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Design and execute integration test plans for complex multi-system environments, including APIs, data pipelines, and Azure services.
n
- Test CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes for integration solutions while maintaining efficiency, reliability, and traceability.
n
- Oversee the configuration and management of development, testing, and production environments, ensuring they replicate real-world conditions for accurate testing.
n
- Apply advanced scripting and automation skills using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML to streamline deployments and test environments.
n
- Implement monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and security of integration solutions, including proactive alerting mechanisms.
n
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality, including security testing (SAST and DAST).
n
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, testers, and stakeholders to align practices with program goals and timelines.
n
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation to support audits, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
n
- Ensure integration testing adheres to Australian Government security and privacy standards.
n
n
Highly desirable criteria
n
n
- Proven experience in integration testing across cloud-based and hybrid environments.
n
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and API Management.
n
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, with hands-on experience in pipeline configuration and test automation.
n
- Advanced scripting and automation skills, particularly with PowerShell, ARM, Bicep,
and YAML.
n
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
n
n
Experience with data validation and reconciliation across integrated systems.
n
Knowledge of performance and API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
n
Familiarity with Micro Focus Fortify, SailPoint, ServiceNow, and AWS.
n
Understanding of compliance and security requirements in government or regulated environments.
n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
