Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Communications & Events Supervisor will play a key role in the Club's ongoing member engagement, communications, marketing and events program. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines creativity, organisation, communication and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

n

Leading member engagement and communication initiatives across the Club

n

Managing the Club's website, social media platforms and digital communications including eDMs. Reporting and analysing data and trends.

n

Developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities and actively reporting on analytics

n

Planning and managing corporate functions, conferences and celebrations including weddings with external and internal stakeholders

n

Promoting major Club events, hospitality offerings, membership initiatives and golfing programs

n

Creating engaging content including graphics, photography, video and promotional material

n

Building strong relationships with members, sponsors, suppliers, media and community stakeholders

n

Supporting initiatives that drive membership engagement, visitation, event participation and revenue growth

n

Coordinating the Club's sponsorship schedule and support sponsorship relationships

n

Protecting the Club's brand and branding collateral and ensure recent collateral is consistent with branding guidelines

n

About you

n

Experience in marketing, communications and event management

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

n

A strong understanding of social media, digital marketing and member/customer engagement

n

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

n

A creative approach to content, promotions and event delivery

n

Confidence working with members, staff, sponsors, suppliers and community groups





n

A friendly, professional and team-focused attitude

n

High attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of projects

n

Experience within clubs, hospitality, sport, tourism or events will be highly regarded
