Located in beautiful Coromandel Valley with stunning views, Familypet Vet has been caring for animals in Adelaide's south-east for over 34 years. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team provides high-quality care by investing in ongoing training and utilizing the latest technology such as digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and IDEXX laboratory machines. We offer in-house progesterone blood testing and are supported by a loyal client base. Plus, we have the added charm of our clinic cat, Shrimp!

The Opportunity
n
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive, tight-knit team. We are offering a flexible arrangement, either full-time or part-time position (approx. 4 days per week, and occasionally Saturdays) depending on the right candidate.
n

Responsibilities Include:
n
n
- Assisting veterinarians across all aspects of general practice nursing (consults, surgery, hospital care)
n
- Delivering high standards of patient and customer care
n
- Monitoring anaesthesia and handling patient recovery
n
- Performing minor procedures and maintaining practice hygiene
n
- Assisting with reception and administrative tasks when needed
n
n
About You:
n
n
- Certificate IV in Vet Nursing (preferred, but candidates with solid in-clinic experience will be considered)
n
- 3+ years of experience in a veterinary nursing role
n
- High standard of patient care, excellent animal handling skills, and strong client service orientation
n
- Good time management skills, initiative, and a cooperative team attitude
n
- Knowledge of Ezyvet is an advantage, but not essential
n
n
