The Role
n
As a Loan Assessor, you'll be responsible for reviewing, processing and management of loan applications from submission to formal approval and liaising with external parties involved in the process (Brokers, Lenders, Valuers & Solicitors).
n
Key duties will include:
n
n
- Accurate and timely processing and assessment of loan applications through all stages from submission to formal approval
n
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory obligations are met throughout the loan process
n
- Assist brokers with loan submissions through to Bluebay Home Loans and missing information requests
n
- Prepare and issue accurate and professional communication of all types with brokers and other external stakeholders
n

You
n
A Loan Assessor must display a sound knowledge of the mortgage lending process as well as a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
n
The ideal applicant will possess:
n
n
- At least 2 years' experience in a mortgage loan assessment, preferably with a Bank, Mortgage Manager or Non-Bank Lender.
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills
n
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
n
- Be able to contribute positively to a team environment
n
- Close attention to detail coupled with speed and accuracy
n
- Sound judgement and credit assessment capabilities
n
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
