The Opportunity

Our client has an opportunity for a senior SA or Counsel to join their highly regarded disputes practice handling a mixture of insolvency, corporate, regulatory and commercial litigation. You will work closely with a senior partner in the firm dealing with a broad range of clients across banks, private credit funds, insolvency practitioners, corporates and directors.

Key Responsibilities

- Advising on corporate insolvency and restructuring matters, including voluntary administrations, liquidations and receiverships;
- Acting for secured and unsecured creditors, insolvency practitioners and company directors;
- Providing strategic advice on distressed debt, workouts and turnaround scenarios;
- Supporting corporate transactions with an insolvency or special situations overlay;




- running broad corporate, commercial and regulatory disputes; and
- Managing matters with a high degree of autonomy while mentoring junior lawyers.

Ideal Candidate

- At least 8 years’ PQE with a leading law firm or reputable boutique with in depth dispute resolution experience across insolvency, corporate and commercial disputes.
- Commercially minded with strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and run matters end-to-end
- A cooperative approach and desire to contribute to a close-knit team
